Search for Permit/Case or Application

Due to increased inspection volume and current staffing shortages, the number of inspections we are able to perform each day may be limited. We are working diligently to resolve these issues and will return to full capacity as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.


Enter information below to search the Maricopa County Planning and Development Database.  On this page, you can search for the following:

  • Building permits
  • Standard Plan reviews
  • Compliance Inspections
  • Code Compliance cases, i.e., violation cases
  • Land Use cases

Schedule an Inspection
To schedule an inspection, you may search for your project tracking number using the General Search function below. The scheduling function will only allow for Building and Drainage inspections on Building permits. Inspections for other agencies’ permits must be scheduled through their scheduling processes.

Search Tips:

  • To find your permit:
    • Enter your permit tracking number in the Permit /Case number field. Note: if your project has not been accepted for plan review or the Addressing review has not been completed, you must have the permit tracking number to access the permit.
    • Enter the numbers of the address into the Street No. field.
    • Licensed professionals may search using their license number.
  • To find your property –
    • In order to find your property, it must be in our database.
    • The parcel or APN number is the most efficient way to search.
    • Using the first 3 numbers of your parcel number will return all the parcels that begin with those numbers. Then select your parcel number from the list and all other information will auto load into the other fields.
